I have a waeco and is has a low off and high switch. This refers to the low voltage cutout. Low and the fridge will allow the battery to discharge lower than when set to high, I dont recall the actual voltage levels.
A very handy feature to protect your battery, even deep cycles benefit.
Cheers

According to the Waeco manual the switch you are talking about is the
'Battery Cut Out Level Switch,
LOW is for cigarette lighter connections and HI is for direct hard wiring (without plugs)'
The owner manual can be downloaded from the Waeco internet site.

From memory low is 10.5 V and med is 11.5, using the cable supplied when set to low it cut out at about 11V measured at the battery terminal

If you're running it off the starting battery, or a starting-type auxillary, set it to high (11.9 volt cutout). If you are running it from a deep cycle auxillary, then you can use the low (10.5V cutout) setting. I think the medium is 11.0 volts.

theratt, good question mate.
-The "high" battery protection only allows the fridge to run while the car is running,
-The "Med" setting is to protect the last part of charge in the battery allowing you to start the vehicle,(11.2 volts is the cut off)
-The "low" setting is for extended fridge run time and will cut out at 10.5 volts (flat battery). Hope this helps. Joey
