Hiya Guys

Just bought 2x Icom Handhelds, now is there any good sites you know of that explains the lingo you use for radios and understanding them apart from the manual's supplied..
The stations you do not use etc etc

Am i close with lingo:

*Breaker Breaker it's BIG DADDY has anybody got there ears on* lol

I'm afraid the days of "10-4 good budgie, looks like we got us a con voy " are dead, at least from my observations. They seem to have been left on 27mhz am...thanks goodness.
I'd suggest that you listen a bit before pressing the big B. But the lingo often depends upon which channel you're on and which area you're in. Is that a Big 20-4 good budgie ?

I have been listening to what people say on a couple of channels this afternoon after i picked them up (radios)...
