Hey guys & girls... just a FYI on some old tracks that were once closed on the north side of
Brisbane. Some of the old tracks off
Oakey-Flat Rd have been reopened... I've been told that alot of the land has been sold, but the rest of it is still privately owned & the owner doesn't mind 4wd'ers on it... the section of tracks where big red is are open which is accessed off rainbird close, i think it's called... basically you come off the highway, down new settlement road, then head towards morayfield on
oakey-flat rd & it's the 1st left once you're on
oakey-flat.
If you need better directions, flick me an email ben.press@gmail.com
Cheers,
Pressy.

Hope the owner doesn't mind 4WDers on his land... you've just told the world!

Where you been old boy? haven't seen you on here for yonks. Still got the shorty I see. We will have to team up with Pezza and a couple of others for harder tracks 4wding day, one day hey? He is always looking for someone with a very capable truck to go out with him and his very capable blown shorty. He reckons he needs a winch truck as this is the only thing not on his truck, and it is
too easy to get into real strife in his truck.
I am in the process of lifting and making an old GQ LWB very capable, but this takes time and money, both of which I don't have a lot of at the moment :-(((
Send either of us a MM or email (think you have
mine) and let us know if you are interested.
Thanks for the updates on Oaky Flat Rd 4wding. It was good many years ago, before we were locked out. Used to take a very lifted Rocky out there, 6 odd years ago.
Regards, Trevor.
