more info required such as watts input for all items you need to run/operate at any given time...

eg a 3/4 hp aircon will not require same size generator as a 2hp etc etc

lights and other apliances add up as well

A 2kva will do the job ok, but a 3kva Honda would do it with ease.

You say 'air cons'.

How many and what type. You may need a large RV type.

Not bad but we need the Watts or KW. Also see is if lists the start up watts or amps.

Have you got only one a/c fitted ?

There are two air cons. One in the bedroom 13500 BTU but this one can not be run at the same time as the primary air conditioner. I guess that would be with battery power. Unfortunately the rig is still down at the Tweed so I dont know as yet what the kw,s are and dont know how to convert if possible. I believe we also need another battery. This is all very new and confusing and certainly nice to know I can contact an expert on the whole electrics thing. I will endeavour to ask the guy down in NSW.
