Hi All, Have had the displeasure of buying an endless air bracket kit for a TD 100 series recently, not at all a good product. Good concept, very poorly designed and put together. Just wondering if anyone else has any experiences, positive or negative on the product. Am I the only one who got 2 dodgeys, or is it a common thing. Have heard of some others with issues but significantly more minor than what I had.
Regards
Ray

Gday Ray, The bracket issues have been on the table since I cant remember when. Your comments are similar to most buyers of endless air.. Michael

Thanks Micheal, I guessed I wasnt alone, after having a second bracket made and this not being right , as
well as EVERY other part needing to be re-machined or rebuilt or completely refabricated. I bought the kit as I didnt have time to build it myself. Would have been faster to build from scratch. I ended up spending my CHristmas with my brother cutting, welding, redesigning, machining, pressing, replacing, buying all the bits to make it work and make it last.
Pretty poor that a bloke can make something so bad and be in business for so long.

Ray, Once you build your own brackets and get it going, i believe the output is pretty bloody good.. I still cant envisage where you put the thing on a 100 series.. Michael

Ta Michael, did a search, no info on TD100 brackets, they are a bit more involvedthan a GU, GQ, 80 or 60... I have it working now, so far superior in design to the original it is not funny. You need to use a Sanden SD507 compressor and mount it in front of the intake manifold. Fits easy oce you know where. Have it working now and it is trumps. Compressor mod is easy to do, and cheap as
well.
Also have dymo sticker on the bracket that makes people laugh, that said it is not very flattering to the original manufacturer..

Hi Michael,
He uses the Sanden SD508 on the Patrol. The 507 is used where there is a bit less space. Basically the 507 is a 5 cylinder 7 cfm compressor, the 508 is a 5 cylinder 8 cfm compressor, I believe there is a 510, 5 cylinder 10cfm and maybe even an 11cfm one as
well. The big ones should fit a GU 4.2.
There is a mod needed on the compressor to make it the same as an "endless, will cost you about 5 bucks if you can use a socket and a M6 taper tap.
Mate has a 508 on his GU4.2TD so I can get you more details if you require.

raunchy, I know that the brackets he sells for the GU are made for him by a bloke in WA that bought one of his brackets and then threw it away and made his own, they worked then, not sure if that is still the case, lol.

Pretty much my experience, He made the bracket, I can weld better and the compressor didnt line up, took 2 months to get a replacement, the compressor wouldnt even fit on this time, none of the holes lined up, the fan spacer was so bad I reckon the fan would have flogged itself to bits in a week, the replacement pulley was30 thou out, the way the bering was held in was shocking, you might drive around the city with the original just in case but you would never go bush, the belt was the wrong size, blah blah blah, it works now, but crikey, it took a lot of work to get it working. When I bought it I assumed that anyone could fit it . I can guarantee that even the mob that make it would not have been able to make it fit.

just thought I would let you know I had the same issues with getting a bracket for the endless air so I had my mechanic make the whole thing from scratch. He did a great job and it works very
well, pumps up the cruiser tyres in no time .Dont know why the original manufacturer carnt do it.I'm not sure what compressor he used but he put it in front of the exhaust manifold.
cheers
