Hi. I have a pair of Roo Lights (supposedly copies of the 170 Light force) which I'm happy with. Cost me the grand sum of about $220.
Now I find that like the Light forces, I can buy blue and yellow lenses for them.
BUT...at $80 ea (for a bit of plastic?)
So one pair of each colour costs nearly as much as the lights themselves. (and why would do I need mellow yellow...fog?)

Does anyone use the different light lens ? What colour, and what do they do for you ?

TIA
Footy

Footy,

I have the 240 Light force on Darkie with blue covers it appears that the blue lens creates a clearer light, if that makes sense. It is very noticable when as a test I drove around without the blue covers but ended up putting the blue ones back on.

Cheers Kev

Would it be fair to say that your situation might be a bit different though Kev? I am told that living up in, what do they call it? Ahhh yes Qld, how silly of me, that you need all the help you can get just to be able to see in remote Aussie locations such as Brissie, Cairns, Rockhampton Etc.
Blue of course is a great colour & one that we as Aussies should be all proud of. LOL

Blue is how you will be feeling in a few months Barry, when the mighty QUEENSLANDERS win the State of Origin again.

You still haven't replied to my earlier question (different thread) of why you drink the lovely QLD drop of XXXX as well LOL

Cheers Kev

Hello there Kev, I have just re read your original response to SIR Footy ( remember he has designs on being the Governor General?)
Anyway mate, you have used the word "blue" a total of four times in your response & I think that in itself sends a very clear & loud message. 1. you are a New South Welshman by heart, & the other (3) uses of this national colour ( to be) I interpretate as being the Blues will win all three games in the soon to be white wash.
As to my drinking habits, I have enough problems trying to fend of SWMBI, so please leave me alone. LOL

G'day Footy,
i'm guessing that the $80 was for all four lenses ( 2 x blue and 2 x yellow). I also have the roolites on the pathfinder with the blue lens and are happy with them, makes everything a bit brighter/whiter.
my two blue covers cost me $20 each so thats why i'm assuming the $80 is for 2 sets. If not tell em they're dreamin.
cheers

yeah $ 20 each from the local opposite lock store.
have a look at 4wd direct ( www.4wddirect.com.au ) they have them for $22.98 ea plus $5.50 delivery (i think that may be per cover?) still would be heaps cheaper than $80 ea.
Mine are for the 180 roo lites.
cheers
