Thanks to all those who gave me suggestions as to the best way of connecting to the internet while travelling.There were many different ideas but they we very good and will be of help. Thanks again.

Investigate Bigppond Next G Wireless internet.
If any one knows about 'remote desktoping', i.e. logging into a server as if you were on the actual server, we use this at work & the Next G works fine to do this.
If you need better coverage, then you will probably need a satelite dish for you internet & a quick lesson on how to point it.
