As I've posted before, we're heading out to
Birdsville via
Innamincka and
Walkers Crossing. Supposedly, the
Innamincka area was going to be flooded from the beginning of March but this does not appear to have happened. If conditions are OK, we'll be in
Innamincka on April 8th and hopefully
Birdsville the next day for two nights. As road conditions websites can be very out of date (this one seems to be the most recent) does anyone have any further information.

Did you contact
Innamincka Trading Post for info? They will be in the know.

Hi Holden 4th
My wife and I expect to be in the same area about 2 or 3 days after you, going to
Innamincka via the
Bore Track, through to
Birdsville, and out to Poeppells Corner.
If you want to swap any track information, conditions etc, please advise.
Cheers
Ian

OK will do - the information will be on here as there are other people wanting to know as
well, particularly about Walkers.
