We regulars know how good this forum is, but sometimes reinforcement is handy. I thought I'd join http://groups.msn.com/Caravanforum - thought I might learn more and maybe contribute a little too, re road travel in general. But the bloke who manages it (Geezer_david) seems quite unhinged to me. When I picked him on his seeming hypocrisy, his continual denigration and abuse of forum posters and his hogging of traffic on all postings he deletes my membership (as one would expect I guess!). Talk about hijacking an opportunity......... he even asks questions there, that he supplies responses to !! Ah............. so good to be back here on a sane and respectful forum of goodwill - I'll not stray again.... it's the heat you know.... been indoors too much.......Adelaide has set a new heatwave record for capital cities.....you won't beat us now :-o).

Here, here! My demise came about a couple of years back after an exchange with him regarding an issue (I can't even remember what it was) during which I called him a 'serial pest'. Yes you are correct, he writes questions and then submits answers. A most unusiual way to run a forum. Can be very autocratic and dictorial.

Could he be deliberately flouting MSN's rules for Group managers ?Might well be, on my reading of them - I'm trying to alert them to that possibilty, but there's probably no humans there - just a robot or two :-o).

Funny you should find him that way. Guess there is two sides to every story. I find a lot of the advice that Geezer provides is invaluable. To each his own eh.

Possibly, re the two sides.......that's why I asked Dave for 'his side' to his abuse, denigration and libel of forumites and other technophiles (its there for all to see) - I probably tipped him over the edge when I asked for some reference to 'his credentials'..... from someone with a lot to say, where is he ? - I thought it a fair query, seeing that he was also bagging Collyn Rivers for example..... Collyn publishes his credentials and confirmed to me his lack of association with any makers or retailers.
Whatever ...........
