I want to mount my panel (soon to be 2 X panels) on the roof of my dual cab Defender. Fibre glass canopy so fixtures should be easy. I was wondering if there was anything that would allow me to tilt towards the sun without getting too elaborate. Any piccies would be hugely appreciated.

Think u are wasting your time trying..just lay them flat, trying to point to sun ..a complete..
well almost ..waste of time..nothing worthwhile to gain ..
But will wait for all the armchair experts to blow bleep at me for my experiences...Thats Exploroz !!

no mate, I didn't - just a lot of Steevos around
It sure makes a difference titlting them when they're on the ground - maybe just too much aggro on the roof though?????????????

Advice I've seen in print from one solar boffin suggests the effort / cost / trouble involved with tilting panels is hardly worth it - negligible gain from the exercise.
