Just talking to a mate today who has just been working up in Innaminka.

He said the fish are biting real well at the moment and the water is nearly a foot over the causeway.
But, he also said that he expects the water to be like that for about another month.

Also, fuel is around $ 1.74 as of last week, so I thought I would post this so that those of you going to Innaminka might be able to budget a bit for the cost of fuel there.
Goodness knows what the cost will be in July, the way it's all going, but at least this gives us some idea what to expect.

I am not complaining about the cost of fuel there, it is probably about the same in many other localities out bush at the moment.

What does Judith think of pedalling up there?

And where would you put your barbed wire?

After filling up here in Nanango Qld @ $144.9 today I think I will budget for around $2 a litre for the trip to Innaminka. So lets hope the Arabs have brought all their new toys and allow for more oil to come out of the ground.
The way its going it will be cheaper to fly to Europe and return then to drive to Innaminka (1300 Ks for me) hahaha

Ironaclly my husband works out there carting liquid gold around the country side. It begs me to ask why are we affected by overseas prices.
