Came as a shock to see the Mobil servo near the M4 has jacked up his diesel to $164.9..... He is the only one in town to do so. Will wait with baited breath to see if the others follow. Can still get it for $144.9 at Kings Langly. So its all OK at the moment

Cheers Stefan

P.S I know our rural friends might not baulk at that price but in town!! BLOODY HELL

I doubt there is a law which prevents any private company charging whatever they want for their product.

The law (and the ACCC) can only prevent collusion between private companies in rasing prices together. I don't see that happening here.

Dosen't it get up you're nose? Price hikes along with a fake fuel shortage to try and get us to buy more because we always stockpile anything in short supply irrespective of the price....
I ask myself where it's all going to end, the interest rate hikes, Food price hikes, fuel price hikes - leaves no cash for "discretional expenditure" eg casual skirt does it....
For those of us on fixed incomes times are going to get very hard and to top it off I got AIDS from some casual skirt, Acute income deficiency syndrome....

Daza.
This 8c subsidy is a real joke for sure.
Last holidays, diesel in Grafton was cheaper thanTweed/Gold Coast & Grafton doesn't receive the subsidy!!!.

Yes, I know. But having known several young men die of it, I'm not adverse to making a joke. That's pretty much all I can do about it.

May I also remind you that these poor young men were someone's sons and brothers.
I might not agree with their lifestyle, but ......

And before I get slammed for being less than 100% mucho, I'd like to state that it can be confirmed by sending me casual skirt :))
Of the less expensive variety please.

Hate to see what will happen in the next 2 days when half of Brisbane invades this state lol

Hey Stefan.

My old man did his trade at Lapstone RAAF base and I spent the first 10 years growing up at Hazelbrook.

I went to Hazelbrook Primary school until 1974.

We left there after cyclone Tracy and have lived up here ever since.

Cheers Steve.
