We are planning a trip from
Balranald up to
Innamincka then round the Burke and Wills points of interest then across to
Birdsville and down south to do some walking in the
Flinders Ranges. How can I get information about the state of the roads/tracks close to our departure time (April 28)? Has anybody done this trip lately?

I'm heading out there and will be there by April 8th. According to the Exploroz road conditions site the expected flooding of the area never materialized (this has happened before) and I fully expect to be able to use Walker's Crossing to get to
Birdsville.
Ruth, a member here who lives in
Birdsville says she will be back
home by the 30th and will post the road conditions on this
forum.
I'll also post after I go through to keep everyone updated.
Happy travelling.
