troopy brake lights

point is i havent got any/none/ i changed every globe and
every fuse i could find,all the ones near the accel pedal,
and the 3 inside the little black box""power outlet""....
everything else on the old girl works fine,including tail lights..
any ideas?? 1991mdl.. thanks in advance

check the switch attached to the brake pedal

yes switch can be stuffed you need a multimeter or 12v test lamp to test power on each side of switch
it is not uncommon on a lot of cars for this to happen fords are renowned for it

Hi there,
put a temp short acrosss the switch and see if they come on. That should quickly prove the switch if you don't have a meter.
