Hi,
We have an English HJ60 that has spent a year in Africa. It is now a little the worse for wear.
Any recommendations on a good mechanic in or close to Melbourne?
Cheers Amelia

Yes mate it's a joke ,,,sorry , if you havn't got a system where you can see where the Co-Ordinates are then the joke is a flop,
Those Co-Ordinates actually put your car in the middle of Port Phillip Bay, As stated , just a Joke, I also own a Landcruiser,

G'day Doug,
We had plotted the co-ords, noticed it put us in the Bay and given the rivalry between Landcruisers and Landrovers etc we got a laugh expecting you to own the latter. We noted that we'd not had a dodgy direction given like that since Africa...

Are you in Melb and have you used a mechanic in the north/north west area? We are in Brunswick.

Cheers mate and I hope you've had a great Easter!

God's country then Doug. My old man grew up in Imbil, just west of Gympie. We are hoping to take the LC up there once she's had some TLC. We are thinking we wont be enjoying the Melbourne weather once June hits us...

Melbourne is a big place. Can you be more specific - east, west, south, north, inner or outer etc etc. What suburb will you be staying?

G'day Dunaruna,

Thanks for checking we knew it was a GPS point - I actually plotted it twice thinking I'd made a mistake..hence replying to Doug (who is quite funny!).

We are living in Brunswick at the moment, trying to sort out the details of importing the vehicle perminantly. I guess a mechanic in or around the northern/north western part of Melb would be handy.

Cheers, Meals
