I reckon he'll shoot me for telling you before he does, (he's on night shift mode now)....but the Navara tried playing skittles down the road after hitting a slippery spot. Didnt hit any cars coming in the other direction and went hurtling over the bank...but all is good!

Now he has polished her up and she's shining like a nickle!!

All is good, no damage, but this was only thanks to oil from a head on recently in the same spot and the start of some slight drizzle, thanks god that he was going slow!

Ill leave it up to him to tell us the whole story....

Cheers Kev

Bloody hell
Nothing like the "Bush Telegraph", eh !

Summer Ice,, thought I would never get caught !

Was traveling home from a day with the "Grand-Kids", and as we drove out onto the Sth Gippsland Highway, from the KooWeeRep turn off, the Navara did a low speed slide, across 2 lanes.

All was fine till the "slippery diff " kicked in and everything went hay-wire. All attempts to flick the Navara around in a 360 failed. By the time I got her under control, we were pointed the wrong way, and heading over the edge of a fill bank, and so I had no choice but to exit the road.
No damage, when we stopped, the main thing no one hurt, just pride !.

No one stopped, even though there was a "Servo" 100 mts away. ,,

3 or 4 attempts to get out failed, due to the hard ground, a steep bank, and wet grass.

Lyn's idea, just waddle down the end of the fill and have a look/see,,, Did that and just drove out..

Telling a Supervisor at work, and th told me that there was a big stack there just on the Friday before, and you guessed it, we were the first to hit that section after a few spits of rain..

Glad we wasn't doing 100km/hr,, been in a pine box by now

Cheers All

More likely to have been Lucky in the Droopy or Jeepney than it would have been me. I'm pleased to say the Victorian Premier cancelled by visa to his lousy state, several years ago. Despite that, we did manage to infiltrate the border at Easter for a few days.....just to remind ourselves of what a great state WE live in over here!!!! ;-))
