Probably going to be paying around the $1.70 plus per litre. Depends on which way a barrel of oil goes?

Thanks Willem Will start calulations from your price and to some where close to Dave's ($1.78) on average but it's early days yet, how about $152 for 85lts. Have got 180lts but do not expect to fill them both at same time other wise I might have sell some thing near and dear (?)

My fuel capacity is 330lts when in long distance travelling mode.
Thats $500+ to fill up if empty. Get further out into the scrub and it may be $700. Dunno where this is all going to end up...like you say...maybe have to sell something along the way......

Tibooburra a couple of weeks ago, but, as Willem says, who knows in May.
I would suggest budget for $1.85 and you may have enough change for a coldie. Only maybe though.

would that be in the next few hours? Diesel is starting to look like Zimbabwean diesel that goes up about a thousand per cent per day!
I might have to make a lot of room in the trailer next trip to carry all the money we will need on the road.

Just got back from Tiboorburra today. Diesel is $178.9!! I would ring up and ask about diesel at
Cameron corner before you go as Bill the owner of the CC Store got me to take the main guts of the diesel bowser (buggered) back to Tiboorburra with me. So at the moment you can only get diesel in 20L drums (hand pumped). Can't tell you about
Birdsville. Its 158.9 in
Broken Hill.

Won,t be long before our major banks will set up business beside most fuel outlets so we will be able to get a loan on
the spot to fill up our wheels.
Paid $1-90 a litre at the
Marla roadhouse yesterday on our way Nth.
