Just read an article in The Sunday Telegraph(NSW) advising that holidaymakers can now book vacations at 170 caravan & camping sites across the state through a government website.
Apparently the government will spend$7million maintaining & improving camping & caravan parks oncrown land.
The website is www.caravanandcamping.com.au.

The website mentioned relates to WA. Now that so many families are supposed to have fallen on hard times it would be good to see all state govts (esp NSW) put some genuine effort into good camping areas - not "resorts".

thats a commercial site not gov as I know..
why would you promote camping even further on crownland ?
wherever we go there are idiots leaving rubbish, turning the camp ground into discos, broken glass everywhere, cigarette butts everywhere. don't need more bottom feeders out in the land.
triple the petrol prices and we might get peace again in the woods.

have fun
