Recently there was post relating to "noise canceling" speakers.
I have not been able to use my HF with the engine running due to the excessive noise.
Install NES10-2 MKII on the weekend. What a difference.
Happy camper again.

Regards to all and have a happy traveling season.

Hi Wim, I know a number of people who have the same problem as you did. Your Post should make them happy campers also.
Arrived back in Bdv yesterday, good trip, weather fantastic - max 27 min 16 no blowing wind/dust and not many dust storms over summer which makes a big difference in the Desert. See you later on in the year. Ruth

Hi Ruth.

Nice to see you had a good trip.
How have the bugs been out that way this year?
Did you get out into the desert? If so, has there been much dune movement?
How did you fare in the last storm that came through Rathdowney? Some of your neighbours did not do so well.

Really nice to be able to use the HF while on the move now.
Very surprised at the level of improvement.

Regards

Ruthie, your friend Alice broadcast her meeting tonight in the local hall. I have just responded. LOL

Wim, what is the thing you fitted? Not that I have HF, well, yet anyway.

Morning John.

I fitted a noise canceling speaker. What a difference.
LC100's are notorious for RF interference, apparently.

Regards.

Just wondering, was the noise coming in via the antenna or electrical connection? I have aproblem on my 100s Cruiser where the noise is not there without the coax connected.

Hi parts.

Apparently, the LC100's are alive with RF interference.
I have tried to filter the noise but no joy.
The electronics in the speaker do a very good job.

Thanks, I have been working on mine since fitment last year to no avail. I will see if I can get hold of one from the company that supplied my radio and hopefully it will offset some of my disappointment.

Hi Wim
I think the post you reffered to was me.
Interesting that you have had success with the nes10 all the feed back I recieved said that it basically wouldn't fix the engine noise on its own.
Did you do any other mods to fix noise ??
Or was speaker that good ??
Where did you get it from ??
I havn't been able to source one in Aust as yet !!
How much did it cost ??
Looking forward to your reply, as I'm "NOT" a Happy camper !!
Cheers

Morning Barry.

Only noise suppression is in the speaker.
I got it here in OZ I don't have the info with me at the moment. I will forward it as soon as I can.
Not cheap, will confirm price as well.
