Hi
I am looking at making a flexible arm for the front of my car to hold the shower hose. Does anyone know where IImage Could Not Be Found can buy something similar to the flexible metal shown in the attached picture?
Thanks for your help.
Ps, sorry about the quality,it was taken by my phone.

Hi Lyndon,
I bought something similar for my GPS off ebay for around $12, suction cap base I think would be stong enough to hols a shower head and easy to remove when travelling. Thanks for the idea I am going to try it as
well.
Rgds

Thanks for the feed back but in my situation i would like to get the rose away from the car a little more, not heaps, just don't want to have to lean on the car for a shower.
Cheers Lyndon

Hi Lyndon ........
Just a suggestion : could you not get another lamp [ from 2nd hand shop/St Vinnies/etc ] dismantle it and re-use the flexible tube ? Is it wide enough to feed the hose through ??
Or just dis-mantle the one you have, use it and get another lamp to replace it ?
Great idea, though .... will be watching the responses in case that flex-tube is available.

microphone goose neck maybe. looks just like that
it has a thread on both ends. you can get a base that is used to screw to podiums lecturns etc and a mic holder on the other end would fit a hand held shower head.

Why not use a telescopic tent pole; mount it on your bullbar at the appropriate angle to get it away from the car's front end. Secure it using an occy strap etc while you're showering.
Another idea might be to use an old beach umbella pole....the type that has a wing nut half way up and a series of rachets around it so you can adjust it to various angles. I have one of these at
home. They also make an excellent pole for holding up a flouro
camp light.
I like to carry gear that has more than one use.

If you have a roof rack - a simple piece of alloy or even wood to slide out and hold shower head and then retract before driving off.
I had a piece of wood for this and it worked
well. The wood gave a better grip for the bungy cord to hold it in transit.
