Dear All
Does anyone have any thoughts on the use of electric boat motors on the billabongs in Norhtern Australia?
Cheers
Daryl

Hmmm,
Not much acceleration, in case anything with large teeth shows up.
Mate has one but only uses it in lakes and estuaries down South.

A couple of times I have hired a barra fishing guide in and around Airlie. He had largish petrol outboard to get us to the right area, then he used nothing but electric for the rest of the day. You don't want to spook those monsters.........................................

Hi Daryl
We have just bought a Minn Kota 55 pound Rip Tide Terova.
Will be trying it out on our 13ft tinny this weekend for the first time.
Will still have a 15HP on the boat as
well, though am hoping it will provide enough thrust to push us along at more than a crawl if no current.
If you would like to email me at the start of next week i can give you some feed back.
Cheers Lyndon
