How do I type the degree symbol into my computer? trying to

Hold down 'Alt' & type 0176 on the numeral keypad.

Copy and paste the list to a Word documennet and then copy and paste from there.

In a Windows environment, try the following:
START> All Programs> Accessories> System Tools> Character Map
BTW you don't need the degree symbol (or the minute/seconds symbols either) for Gooogle Earth to recognise it.....just make sure there is a space between the D M and S.
