Recently I picked up a branch that tore the wire connection off the rear ABS sensor on my GU Patrol which appears to be quite vulnerable. I was advised by Nissan this is quite a common problem and it cost $980 to repair. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if anyone has worked out a way of protecting the ABS sensor system wiring.

Roger, Hi, haven't looked at this problem yet, will have a look next week when in the work
shop, I have a very clever mate that can fabricate all sorts of things, will let him have a look at it, stay tuned,
John
