I have both the Gregorys (#520) and Ellerys (EP.T018) aftermarket manuals, and prefer the Gregorys as its much easier to follow.

Main thing you'll need the manual for is adjustment of valve clearances for the 1HD-FTE , and its well explained in the Gregorys.

If you're after the factory manuals, you can usually buy the books at huge expense, but I've heard that theres a CD available.

For $3 EURO's get a minimum of 1 hours access to the download server at http://techdoc.toyota-europe.com/
If you time your connection right you may get up to 2 hours as it cuts off on the hour IIRC. You can download the whole factory service manual for the 1HD-FTE engine and supplements in that time.
You could pay more and get more access and download the electrical wiring diagams, body manual etc etc etc. Don't forget to download the RHD versions.
