Choppers certainly make it easy, would have been nice to have one drop everything at the Spotting Hut! Fortunately technology means it wasn't hard to carry the parts up this time, unlike the original installation with a huge battery that took 6 blokes 2 hours to haul up!

Cheers

Excellent !!
Now if only people would use it 'responsibly' it will be a great asset to High Country travellers..
Did the installers put in an 'idiot filter' ....

Hi Signman, at the risk of upsetting Doug and the other Truckies on this forum, the worst "idiots" are Truckies using Ch 38 as they drive along the Princes Hwy. As the Repeater has a wide coverage of the Hwy you can have up to 2 hours of the same drivel and foul language at a time. At further risk of upsetting our resident Truckies they aren't too bright as they will be told what they are doing and will change channels, only to be back the next day. Hopefully one day after being told many times it might sink in.
