I can understand deleting the sunroof but why would anybody delete the KDSS..??? I have a VX on order and wouldn't mind adding the Aux tank...but not getting rid of either option. And really, I can't understand all the fuss...the KDSS, moonroof and what,...leather seats weigh that much that you can't have a full fuel load...it's rubbish and no different in the end to 100 series Sahara/VX in terms of load carrying.

Don,

FYI, Longranger are about to release a 70l tank that keeps the spare in place. Add that, and you are better off than with the Toyota one. I thinbk they also have 120l plus 50l water and 180l that need spare relocation.

Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (I think...?)
Anyway, it was developed in WA for Toyota but you can also install a similar system aftermarket..refer their website.
In the LC200 setup. it is designed to reduce body roll ON-ROAD whilst OFF-ROAD, it disconnects the sway bar, affording greater articulation

Ive seen photos of a few vehicles driving one wheel up the articulation ramp, and the standard kdss cruiser drove up as far as the older 105 with old man emu suspension....so std it is as good as a modified solid diff cruiser with all the advantages of the IFS onroad... can understand Toyota allowing the option, as it will make the cruiser more widely sort, but as all have said, the deleted options are more desireable than the extra tank, especially when there are so many other ways to carry fuel.
