Thanks to those who replied to my question.
As an update. I rang the
Chillagoe Caravan Park and Roadhouse and their advice was the road from Palmerville to
Maytown was closed and to the best of their knowledge the road through to Fairview was open. They also said the road trains were using the crossing of the
Mitchell River at Dunbar with very little water about.
We have our “ExplorOz” sticker on the bumper so join us for a toast at the top from July 10 –12.
