G'day all.
I am with a group heading up to Fraser in a couple of weeks. I would be grateful for any information on the present condition of the beach from someone who has been there recently. Specifically I would like to know how long we will need to wait after high tide to drive up the beach. Thanks in advance

I was over there last week and the conditions weren't too bad!

The beach is still quite flat, good at low tide, but it means that the tide 'comes in faster'.

Dilli Village was impassible at near high tide, and they weren't very big runs. The high tide came all the way up to the 'sand cliffs' (about a meter high at that point) so even if you took the high tide road and could get as far as Dilli (you may not be able too, I didn;t go south of Dilli) you wouldn't get past there.

There were another couple of close areas further up the beach even at mid tide.

rermember that beach conditions change 4 times every day!

have fun

cheers
