Yes they will fit.......but like my XGTs, you will find that they won't exactly fit within the side profile of the bar. IE: when viewed from side-on, the lights will sit slightly forward of the main hoop bar. However, I have never heard of anybody being pinged for this. Given that it is a flat surface, there is no additional harm that could befall a wayward pedestrian when they clobbered by your GU.....in fact, it could be argued, that the light's would present a slightly more attractive front for that person..... I still believe this whole pedestrian-friendly bullbar/front-end thing is totally fanciful: The fact is that if a 2.5tonne truck hits you at anything above about 15k/h, you're gunna be just as D E A D whether it's got a bullbar or inner spring bloody mattress attached to it's front extremities!!!! hahahaa

thanks Roachie, much appreciated, just what I was after. I went for a squiz at your profile pics and saw:

"converted to 55w 6000k HID"

in lay person terms, what does this entail/deliver?

Does that mean you put some techno globes in?

I have not been on this forum for som time, good to see you have chopped your car in half since I was last here!!

thanks again

G'day Darren,

No, I didn't have my original GU chopped and re-motored...this is a different truck altogether.

As for the lights..... I'm not sure how much you understand about HID technology, but my XGTs have been completely re-built (internally) and now have totally different characteristics.

Darren

I have my Ligthforce 240's mounted on the front of black standard Nissan GU steel bar. The only thing is I had couple of little brackets made as the on my 240 Blitz lights the front rim of the light sits lower than the mounting point. Drew up a sketch with a few measurements and cost me $40 to have them made out of stainless steel, so that they now sit with the back of the lights touching the grill and the front of them does not stick out any further than the front of the bar. This would not be a problem with with the XGT's.

Cheers

Snowy

G'day Darren,

Mine also fit but as mentioned before they sit a little proud of the front of the bar. This is not a bad thing either, the bride recently backed our commodore into the front of the Nissan the only damage was the boot of the dore. Two scalloped imprimts of the light.

My first reaction was $hit hope you didn't break the lights? Not a crack in either the lenses or the mounts my god they are tough.

Kind regards

Used to run twin "spot" on the LC100 - but have changed to combos since fitting them to the 'Trol and I am very happy with them - good spread close and still good distance as well
