G'day all,
Just wondering if anyone knows what's the go with converting a normal air conditioning compressor into a air compressor you can use to blow up tyres, etc. Everyone seems to know it can be done, but no-one knows how???

Search the archives this has been done numerous times.

Check somewhere around four weeks ago. I responded to a previous post on a similar topic and gave a rundown on what needs to be done.

I have turned many A/C compressors into air compressors.
Findind a spot to mount it is the problem, except for me, caus i ripped the A/C out
The compressor lines are easy to get made up with a quick release air fitting
Put the exh. hose up into your air cleaner.
Any other details needed call Mick christie on 0296201208 work hours.
We use the compressor on our tufftruck for the air lockers & the 39.5'' swampers get pumped up in about 40sec.
