Having a problem with the TV losing its auto programming function i.e. now need to manually tune in the channels when moving to different towns.

TV is LCD 15" Majestic - TM154.

Majestic have re-programmed the software twice now but problem re-occurred so they replaced the unit.

Didn't help - still happening.

I've had the 12vlt plug and socket checked for voltage drop / spike by Phoenix and it all checks out 100%.

Obviously Majestic say it's the van and Phoenix the TV.

I thought it may have been the 12vlt cig plug not seating properly so I left it in place instead of pulling it in and out each time. Nope - wasn't that.

Anyone have any suggestions or had a similar experience?

So, is it that yours originally self tuned whenever you moved location or did you go into auto tune in the menu?

Get a STB and connect to the AV input of the TV.

All you have to do then is leave the TV on AV1 or 2 (depending on the number of AV points on the TV) and tune in the STB at each new loacation.

We bought a STB yesterday and it wiped channels 9 -10 and SBS off the other TV sets in the house! The instruction booklet didn't say anything about unplugging other sets during set up. Eventually, these channels suddenly reappeared where they should have been and we are now not sure if maybe the transmitters were off due to something like lightning.
