I just did a search for answers to these questions but no luck.

I have a Magellan Meridian Colour that i just managed to accidentally delete all the maps from... not happy as i dont have any software to reload them..

I'm looking at the DiscoverAus Topo SD card version of mapping to reload the unit

Will it be as simple as plugging in the SD card and away i go or is it more complicated than that?

Does the SD card cover every part of Australia?

If i buy the SD card for the Meridian can i use it later on an Explorist when i upgrade or do the different units require different cards?

Cheers for any opinions.

Mate not sure if this was the cause but the version of DiscoverAus i used was a burnt copy...

I used an original disk to load them initially but the burnt disk seems to have caused a few issues.

Any thoughts as to whether this may be the reason??
