Only had a superfical play with it Barely There.

Seems ok

One of the traps with these things in general is that mapping is not latest and it can cost you a lot to update - e.g. on my Garmin 276c it costs more for latest mapping than does that entire unit.

Check it on new important roads for your.
For example in Melbournes east is a large new tollway that runs north south , make sure it has this.

It is very up to date, it told me to turn onto Eastlink. Pretty hard considering it is not open yet.

Also in our estate (newish) it tells me to drive along roads that have not yet been started.

It comes with instructions on how to update, but I don't reckon that will be necessary for at least two years.

Hi Bonz

Didn't know you could for $120, thats a little better, I think they recently dropped price that with the removal of the ability to load 2 GPses.

Jim - Thats good it makes it worth $179. MY garmin 276c and Quest use City Navigator 8 and it still has lots of errors , doesn't even have the 6 lane dandenong bypass that crosses the yet to be open eastlink , and its been open for 6 months.

We bought one about 5 months ago. Gets us from A to B.

Easy to use? My GLW"s navigational skills are such that she couldn't find her bum with both hands behind her back. Now she happily roams around Melbourne with ease. She loves it and I no longer have to write out detailed instructions each time.

It also saves travelling time by taking the best route eg recent trip that was previuosly over an hour was completed in 40 minutes.

Jim.

what a useless tool Jim, what if you are ALREADY AT B? And want to go to say ummm C? Or back to A? I can see this being a problem!

I suggest for the sake of your mental health you need to spend far less time with Robbo.

Apart from being the original dude they couldn't r o o t, shoot or electrocute 'Jambo', I do believe you have been spending far too long around the factory 'glue pot/s'.

BONZ doesn't have to be around me for his mental health problems to show, it just comes natural for him.

You may be aware that he currently has a permanent crick in his neck from making sure that, that 6'10" En-Zud coota whose SAAB he 'panel beated' with CV a couple of weeks doesn't catch up to him.

Apparently he sits around home muttering to himself and dribbling over the puter more than usual.

A trip to the OBC 08 will fix that I am sure.

I don't have to be around you for my mental health to suffer but it accelerates when I am in the same state as you let alone the same suburb.
