Well as of 10 am this morning I have officially joined the aging gracefully clan with the addition of our first grandchild a healthy boy, for the technically minded 3.2 kgs and 52 cm long.

I'm pleased to say the grandparents are doing well and very happy with smiles all around.

Oh yeah daughter is fine as is the little fella.

Heading to Darwin this Friday to check out my grandson and spend a few weeks annoying daughter :) :), may even sneak off and have a fish.

Time for a beer

Brian

Keep in touch, my boat may be fixed very soon, if not I will find one, as I know the best hiding spots to sneak off to.

Cheers Steve.

I will grab your number before I leave. Just love fishing hiding spots, mind you I just love fishing :).

Have to see if I can organise gear to take with me or raid the daughters gear.

Congratulations Brian.
Grandparents seem to be the happiest people, maybe because they can rev the kid up and spoil them rotten, then hand them back when they get out of control......Its a parent's revenge thing I can't wait for my turn LOL

Congratulations old man. Our first grand child is due in June, I'm reliably informed it's a girl child, quite looking forward to it.

Yes two weeks LSL come back for two weeks then off to Victoria for a week or so come back for 5 weeks then off for 7 weeks leave. Somewhere in all that I will be in SA hopefully for a week.

Damn I'm busy saying it like that.

I also hope to bend the odd rod or two :)
