I am sure there are heaps of threads on this but being lazy...
....who do you recommend I insure my camper trailer with?
Also with respect to cover for the 4x4, I am heading of for five months with the family and was going to renew my insurance with AAMi. Need to
check if they cover me in remote areas if I am on an ungazzetted road.
Can anyone recommend an insurer?

Howdy Greg,
We asked the same question a week or so back. CIL , MHIA & APIA seemed to be what most people recommended.
CIL $447 MHIA $402.19 & APIA $477.80 PA. We ended up re insuring through National seniors underwritten by Allianz for $390.
There excess is more at $375.00 the other three being $100 for damage, $100 for contents & $100 for awning.
They all seemed to offer the same benefits otherwise.

Hi Barry,
Unfortunately / Fortunately I don't qualify for Apia as I am 37.
Not sure if the others are "seniors" orientated?
