I have recently changed over due to 'handset gone to god'.
I rang Telstra's hotline that apparently has call takers that 'know their stuff', and told them l live in a 'patchy' area. I also told them I wanted a 6120 phone but external aerial was only available via car kit. No problem says Telstra.
2 days later, on my doorstep arrives new 6120, full Nokia car kit, force cradle and 600mm high gain antenna.
All this connected to $40 plan! $0 outlay.
So make sure you crunch them if still to do so.

Cheers Col.

P.s. Hotline No. 1800 888 888.

It will be nice to know how the Nokia works as I live in a fringe area. I have tried 3 NextG phones and they were useless. They were ZTE 850, LG 550 and LG 500. (The latter because my LG 550 couldn't swim!) I have eventually purchased a ZTE F165, after wraps given by EO people, and it works a lot better but still feel it is not the real answer.

Keep us posted.

Richard

PS Telstra paid for all the phones because of my complaints about them not working well. Cannot understand why they sell phones that do not work!!!
