Please be-aware, I have it on good advice that there will be no fuel supplies dropped at Well 23 this year and that Kunawarritjia will only have limited supplies, due to the fact they haven't much in the way of storage tanks.
With the expected 400+ travellers on the CSR, BE WELL PREPARED!!

At yesterdays 4x4 Vic meeting they actually said that Kunawarritjia was gearing up for the additional fuel suggesting that they would be carting it themselves out to well 30 to cut the distance down for those unable to carry enough. A simple phone call for travellers to the community would confirm or squash the rumours.
Cheers Craig.........

Hardly seems worth carting it about 80km south west to Well 30 where I believe there are no intersecting tracks.

Found the log. Diesel was 1.485 in Alice, 2.20 at Rabbit Flat and 2.00 at Bililuna and 3.00 at Kunawarritji. No competition at Kunawarritji will make it interesting to say the least! Ah well, will find out soon enough!

Just think of the price this year. Two years ago we paid $3.00 a litre and the price in civilization? was much less than now. Can't find my trip log from that trip.
