Can you attach a Barrett auto tune antenna to a older Codan set?

Fairly sure that it would not work.
The older set would not 'trigger' the 'auto tune' function in the antenna.

With enough money, most things are possible :) However the Ic2 bus used by Codan isn't the same as the Barrett bus.
So you'd need to have a converter designed specially for the job. It would probably cost more than the difference between selling the Barrett aerial and buying a s/h Codan auto tune aerial.
Sorry, I know that it's not what you wanted to hear, but there you are :((
