Can anyone tell me the weights for both a alloy and a steel tray for a Ford
Ranger is?
Also how much a steel tray would weigh without the sides on?
3 out of 4 people make up 75% of the
population

Phil
Thanks for replying . Single cab. I'm thinking about getting a slide on camper and the weight rating is fairly close.

Ratmo, I don't know if this is any help to you but a steel tray for a BA Falcon weights 200Kg (so the manufacturer says) an alloy tray is bugger all.

Thanks Mark
Found a tray makers web site with weights listed , steel is around 225kg upto 260kg and a local supplier in Lismore said that alloys weigh around 65kg.
But Ford and Toyota a so unhelpfull , asked them how much there bull bars weigh and they said they don't give that info out. Must be a state secret.
