And besides NZ Soldiers fought and died alongside Aussie Diggers ,
No I'm not racist , just a realist ,

Maybe not so, Doug.

These figures conceal the reality that a fair percentage of "Kiwis" who migrate to Oz are former foreign nationals, not Kiwis. Such immigrants find it easier to get to Oz by first migrating to NZ and becoming a Kiwi. Migrating to Oz as a Kiwi is apparently far easier to achieve than for any other nationality.

Richard

So I take it, from what you have just posted, NON 4WD and camping topics are not allowed??

I note that you have managed to contribute to a number of OFF TOPIC (i.e not 4WD or camping related) subjects over the years.

I have sat around many mnay campfires over the years and the topics discussed have NOT all been about 4WD and camping - isnt this forum just an electronic version of the campfire??

I don't know about you but I certainly have lots of interesting things to talk about other than JUST 4WD and camping as do others on this site.

Cya around the campfire :-)

Now for the real story behind the headlines;
It's election year in NZ and that newspaper writes an anti the present goverment article every day. They reckon that the economy in NZ is driving people across the Tasman so it's the Governments' fault that people are leaving.

I think Kiwis are just getting smarter and realise how much better it is over in OZ. Sad thing - at the end of the day they will still be Kiwis.

Our admin manager at work applied for a job at a mine site last year and was told (off the record) by an emplyee at the mine that if he wasn't Kiwi his resume wouldn't get a look in.

Is this Australia or not!

A previous Prime Minister of NZ once made the comment;

By going to Australia those people are raising the IQ level of both countries
