Evening all,
i run 285/75/16 Kuhmo venture A/Ts day to day towing and when going of roading(within reason)when i go tripping i usually fit my 305/70/16 Procomp Muddies, recently being a bit lazy i havent been swapping them and only running the A/Ts,have done some swiming, mud bathing and
rock climbing even down to 18 PSI and they have been great.we are going up the centre to
birdsville then wiggling our way to
cape york, normally i WOULD run the muddies but am seriously cosidering running the A/Ts as they are quieter, better on sand and good in everything else.so what do i do--run the normal charter or take the chance with the A/Ts?cheers Paul

It's only my opinion but you can quite easily go to the cape with all A/T's the main worry is the corrigations shaking the hell out of the rest of your 4WD. Make sure you
check all bolts around your car run the greese gun over it, carry two spares if you can, don't worry and have a bloody good trip.

You've answered your own question.
I did the GRR on A/T's...not one issue.

You can run what you like as long as they have plenty of life left in them.
All the best
