What I want to know is what brand is this unit so that I can see if I can find something with simillar dementions that can fit in the same place in the ST.

Check out the In-dash systems from Poron Australia.

www.polarisgps.com.au approx $1249.00 for my Landcruiser

OR the VMS from

www.gpsoz.com.au

I decided against the in-dash all-in-one system because of the cost and the fact that I tow a caravan and would have had to choose whether to have the GPS or the rear view camera.

As noted below, the VMS has 3 camera inputs. The way I am doing it is that the camera on the back of the 4wd comes on automatically when in reverse gear. The one on the rear of the van can be switched manually by selecting the AV mode.

Jason, in my ST 07 CRD I have installed a VDO Dayton MS5200XS system. This is what Nissan installed. Have a look at the below url

VDO system link

The page as all of the sspecs of my unit.

All the best

The VMS system will fit and includes inputs for 3 cameras. Cheaper than VDO Dayton, Pioneer AVIC and Gizmosis and...it has bult in off road mapping (Ozi Explorer).
Cost around $3000 installed, including rear view camera.
