Saw the new TrackTrailer caravan at the caravan/camping show today. Very tech, with a minimalist efficient finish. Around 1100kg and ball 80kg. No frills very macho and tough around $40K very tempting.....silverback

I think that is string to be a bit heavy. With fuel being what it is and predicted to double in the next couple of years, I reckon new models are going to be looking at reducing weight.

Its a full size caravan with a section that pops up about 30cm/1ft..when you see it you realise how light it is considering its bulk...cheers ...silverback

It was a pre-release display...no brochures etc, the release will be next month I think. They have had a teaser on their web site under a cover. From a male point of view it was very purposeful, nothing for the ladies tho unless they like the German Engineering look.....silverback

David - they advised us that they only completed that one at 4.00 am yesterday - not finished in some areas - no table - gas cylinders will be in the rear of the van - spare tyre and gerry cans on the draw bar - release date September 2008 - they have another one which they have road tested. Same suspensionas the Tvan.

Yea I wasn't sure of the release date. They mention 1100kg which would be an incredible tare. I just loved the no frills lean mean industrial look, great for the dirt tracks....silverback
