Hi every one , Ive just started a new book " Mailman of the
Birdsville Track the story of Tom Kruise" Very interesting so far. Always good to see what our Pioners had to deal with. Ps Dont think its avaliable on Exploreoz.Around Oz 06/2004

Rox, have a look at the video "Back of Beyond" about Tom Kruse and the re-enactment of Back of Beyond. What a great person Tom is - what fun was had when they did the re-enactment. Tom was the strongest man - used to lift loaded 44 gal drums on his own, on and off the truck whenever he was bogged or at the flooded Cooper, or just to load and unload the truck at his destination. Just amazing.
