Thanks a lot Kerry.
The info that you've sent me is what I was after.

This Patrol has been a great car until recently. It has been running badly for a couple of months now & after going through the electrical system & the carbi I am down to the head. I brought a recond gas head on a recent trip to Perth & will be putting it on shortly. I am hoping that it will bring my Patrol back to it's former glory.

After running on LPG for 15 years I suspect that the exhaust valves will be well recessed into the head by now.

Thanks for the help Kerry. The head exchange was successful. It got rid of the miss at idle. It didn't however get rid of my backfiring through the carbi problem. That, I will put on another thread.

Regards
