Factory GU Winch Bar quesiton

Hi all,
The genuine Nissan Winch Bar is obviously a popular item, and looks a lot like the ARB bar.
Two questions.
Does it need the Nissan Factory Accessory book listed item - winch fitting kit - to take a Warn 9000?
Is there an after market (ARB or TJM or other) set of brush bar and steps that will fit up to it?

I have the factory Nissan bar on my GU.
I was told that I would need this so called "winch fitting kit" when I installed
mine. I bought it it not knowing where it went and as it turned out, all it is is just a mounting bracket to move the number plate out of the way of the fairlead.
The Nissan bar is actually manufactured by ARB (thinner guage steel) and yes you can fit the ARB brush bar and side steps to it.
