The Bruce highway now bypasses Yandina but if you take the Yandina - Ginger Factory - Coolum off ramp and actually go into Yandina Village and then head north on the old highway you will find the
rest stop about 2 kms out of town. You can see it from ther highway if you know where to look but it is only accessible from the township.
Hope that helps

If you look up 26 32 19 s 152 57 21 e in either Google maps or Google earth there is a little narrow north south strip of very low resolution that runs straight over
the spot.

Doug Dear - Browns Creek is at
Betoota - good yabbie hole.!!! Bloody noisy here this a.m. - 36 helicopters flying around overhead making nuisances of themselves - can't hear myself type. Please note new email due to total frustration. Hope all
well.

Hi Ruth,
Like the rig
pic but that and your post had me thinking - is it in fact a UFO vapour trail over the residence? That would explain the choppers! Strange things happen out there.
Kind regards
Theo

Very funny Theo. The rig photo is a storm over the house last December - eventually dropped 52 mm of rain which was nice. The 36 helicopters part of largest civilian group of helicopters trying for a world record and raising awareness and funds for SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) and flying around terrorising the country for 9 days. They left early this morning in a huge cloud of dust - but think 2 have returned. They were going to Uluhru. Did you have a nice trip?

Hi Ruth,
I work so my motto is there is no such thing as a bad trip. There is a lot of planning which I see as an extension to any trip - so dreaming to go a long time before the trip. Not had a trip that did not live up to expectations!
In a couple of years I hope to be travelling full time.
Kind regards
Theo
