Anne Beadell Highway Feedback

In 2001 I graded the track will working with the Laverton Shire first time a grader was on it since len Beadell built it, it took three weeks to clear the track since I had all the mod and cons, I take my hat off the a great man, a true pioneer.

presumably only to the WA border?

I don't think the SA side (except perhaps in Mamungari) has been graded since LB.

Heres some more Footy. I know a couple of them are on the wrong road Richard ;)

On this one note the Exploroz sticker on the inside cover of the lid and also the water in the background.

Cheers

She was pretty ill defined in many places on the SA side in 2006. We were one of the first vehicles across in the travel season that year in early April.
Image Could Not Be Found. Yep that is rain.

The border

Things started to improve about 70 km west of the border. Great trip though.

Cheers. Mick

Hi Mick,

It certainly wasn't in the travel season when I was the first to travel on it in 2006 from CPedy to NJunction, 1 Jan - 3 Jan. Talk about rain, never seen anything like it.

Cheers

I'd of thought HOT myself Alan at that time of year. When did the big fire go through there? Travelled through hundreds of Km of recovering flora. First leg this year will be back to Annes Corner.

The fire was before I was there.

I would have thought hot too, but wanted to get back to Perth. I knew two weeks before that it would not be hot though. (brother worked at BOM)

We were there last April.
My wife thinks you had to many beers if you graded the SA side cause every 372mm for about 500 kms it went up and down :)
