While travelling up the west coast of the Eyre Peninsular last year I picked up small clog shaped cocoons along the cliff edge at Drummond Point. I was fascinated to read the following article about their origin.

As a kid living at Venus Bay there were thousands of these near the cliffs, but over the years they have been souvenired and it is hard to find them now.
Well done Navigator 1 on your research.

Don't mean to put a dampener on your discovery, but how can these people sell fossils? Shouldn't these sort of things be in museums for them to study and research and maybe put on display? Not swiped and flogged off the internet for a bargain?

When I first read the heading, I thought Kim, Footlose or Willem must be having another birthday!

At least I was right about one thing.........................................
