earthing kit

hi all i have a nm pajero and see that mitsi do an earthing kit for it , now i do not want to pay the rediculous original price so i want to make my own . now, what size wire would i use and where exactly do the extra earth wires go ? cheers

If it is the earthing strip from the bonnet to the guard to reduce radio interference, then they should do it for free. There is a bulletin about it and Mitsubishi did mine for free some time ago.

If it is just an earth strap to earth the bonnet then make it up from some co-ax cable. Strip the outer sheath off the cable and then take the centre conductor and insulation out from the braid. Cut the braid too length and solder a lug on either end. then mount it in a place where you can get some metallic connection to the bonnet and body.
